Bonnie Hutchinson

Bonnie Hutchinson

I began a conscious spiritual journey about 15 years ago, when one of my most sensible, practical and astute friends began telling me about her experiences with channelling and spiritual growth. Had she been anyone less credible, I might have resisted. What surprised me was that, rather than thinking, "She's lost it," it was more like I was remembering something I already knew but had lost touch with.

My friend introduced me to a number of people and experiences that were life changing. Whatever else I have done in the past 15 years (and it's been lots!), I have been on a journey of spiritual growth and learning.

I noticed that when I began to weave spiritual practices into my traditional consulting and training practice, the results were gratifying. I've had a lot of fun devising ways to incorporate techniques such as grounding, setting intention, and being open to inner guidance, in ways that are appropriate for corporate and government settings.

When Karen and I began SPIRIT Connections, one of the attractions for me was to be able to be explicit about the spiritual and energy work we do. While we always set an intention, stay grounded in integrity, and work for the highest good of all, it has been especially wonderful to say those things out loud and share the processes with our SPIRIT Connections clients.

"Learning" is a dominant theme of my life. I was a perpetual University student all the time my children were growing up, and I've also taken literally hundreds of workshops and seminars related to personal growth, management and leadership. I was a teacher for seven years. When I moved to careers in community development, management and consulting, the theme was often related child and adult learning.

After 20 years of consulting practice, I went back to school to expand the theoretical framework of my experiential knowledge. My M.A. in Whole Systems Design had a special focus on organizations in transition.

My current learning passion continues to be anything related to spiritual growth and the energetic and spiritual changes in the planet. I'm also having lots of fun learning about the practical side of how to "grow" SPIRIT Connections in new directions, to add to the vehicles we can use to fulfill our mission of "uplifting the planetary vibration."

In my personal life, I am the delighted mother of two grown children whom I would like a lot even if they were not my children. My four grandchildren bring me joy in ways I couldn't have imagined. I feel blessed by wonderful family and friends, laughter, and the joy of creating a business that is completely aligned with my life mission and purpose.

Karen Titanich

I was born in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada, the youngest child of Stan and Pearl Coverly. I have two older brothers: Lloyd and Ken. I was and am blessed to have chosen my family. I was raised in a rural setting where family, school and the church were at the centre of our social lives. My home was both spiritual and religious - although I didn't understand the distinction until I was older.

My father was a lay preacher and an elder in the church as well as a foreman in a manufacturing plant. Self-taught in religious philosophy, he shared his wisdom, encouraging me to follow "the voice". As a consequence, more often than not, I have listened to the voice that guides me. The times when I chose to ignore it did not unfold as I would have liked. So, over my life, I have become increasingly "tuned in" to my guiding voice.

Dad also understood the power of choice, intention and positive thinking. He encouraged me to decide, set an intention and go for it! Thank you, Dad!

For 25 years, my path took me into the health field. I studied at university to become a nurse and worked in mental health, intensive care, public health and later as a civil servant and university tutor. In the early 1980s, I went back to school and got masters' degrees in nursing and public health. The programs were somewhat unusual at the time. Each promoted self-discovery and self-knowledge as well as the importance of communication and facilitation when working with others. A good fit with my upbringing.

SPIRIT Connections is a large part of my path now. I am blessed to have the opportunity to work with Bonnie. To paraphrase James Keelaghan: "I dance as I go!"

Wishing that you too "Dance as you go!"
