SPIRIT Connections is delighted to be distributing of Sharon Matthias limited edition photographs. Our first selections are the photos that you saw in our 2003 Skies Calendar: Soaring with Spirit.

About the limited edition photographs:

Unique and exclusive to SPIRIT Connections, these "skies" photographs by Sharon J. Matthias are some of her finest and most awe-inspiring images. These photographs (some amended to fit the format) were chosen for the SPIRIT Connections 2003 Skies Calendar: Soaring with Spirit. Each photograph is a collectable work of art suitable for framing that can be hung on your wall and enjoyed.

These photographs are sold as a limited edition series with only 24 original prints available of each photograph. Each limited edition photograph is numbered and hand-signed by Sharon J. Matthias. Each photograph comes with a certificate of authenticity indicating that it is an original limited edition photograph..

Photographs will be mailed in a tube, unframed. Each computer enhanced photograph is signed and numbered by the photographer, and is one of an edition of 24 available. Sizes available for each photograph are provided with the pictures of the photographs provided below.

Special order photographs are also available. Each custom limited edition photograph will be considered one of the total edition of 24 photographs and numbered accordingly. Prices for custom photographs will be quoted upon request.

Custom framing is also available and will be quoted upon request.

"Photography is a healing experience for me as it helps me access my inner wisdom and make my work fruitful. When I see the whole of a scene, and consider which aspect I will choose to focus a photograph, it also focuses and stills my mind.

Because I was born and raised on the prairie, the sky is an important part of the landscape for me. To quote Wallace Stegner:

?over the segmented circle of the earth is domed the biggest sky anywhere,
which on days like this sheds down on range and wheat and summer fallow
a light to set a painter wild,
a light pure, glareless and transparent?"

Sharon J. Matthias' photographic art balances her busy life as a management consultant and policy design consultant in her firm - Matthias Inc.: Designing the Future. Sharon lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and has one adult son, who is living and working in China.
